4 and 5 lug cars

    Did some searching but didn't find all the answers I was looking for.

    Was wondering if anyone could tell me which Mavericks/Comets and came with 4 lug and which with 5 lug. Not sure which years, packages, etc. determined what they came with.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    1970 were all 4-lug

    1971-1972 6 cyl cars were all 4-lug. 1971-1972 V-8 cars were all 5-lug. I have seen some report that some of the 250-6 cars in 1971-1972 were also 5-lug.

    1973-1977 ALL are 5-lug.

    From my experience the 71-72 with the 250-6 had 5 lug regardless of the suspension on the car, who knows for sure how they came out of the factory though

    I have had several 1971-1972 cars with the 250-6 with 4-lugs....so who really knows. The mystery just goes on......
