summit headers

    summit has a shorty headers for $179....will it bolt ip fine to my dart Jr steel heads ?? thanks

    I go to Summit (Akron) about once every two weeks, surf their "demo" racks, and see a lot of SB Ford headers. The vast majority of Ford SB headers I have seen have small, stock type exhaust port openings. None of the readily available headers will match up to my AFR 165's, even the Hooker 6901's, which have one of the larger exhaust port flanges.

    If the Summit headers are based on the currently available Hedmans and Hookers, you will like have to do some grinding and port matching.

    Okay thanks for replying....I think the dougs headers have bigger flanges and quality
