I have a problem trying to rebuild my power steering pump. The fitting that is at the back to the pump where the high pressure hose goes is loose after putting back together. I have try different ways to solve the problem and the schematic that came with the rebuild kit does not help. Any help would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, there are 2 nuts that are used on this. The first nut holds the fitting tight against the housing, the second nut is to hold the p.s. bracket to the fitting.

You are correct about there being 2 nuts. I found out from a power steering re builder that the fitting that comes from the pump where the high pressure lines connects is suppose to be welded in. Mine broke loose and I order a rebuilt pump and used my existing housing since I had it powder coated. I appreciate the help I received.
