    i got a c5 that i was told it was a c5 so i want to know two things


    one what is the wires coming from the trany?

    two what is the top leaver for?

    The wires are for the neural safety switch and back up lights and the lever is for the kick down linkage

    The difference between the C4 and C5 is the C5 has a lockup converter and a deeper bell housing (longer) to accommodate the lockup converter.

    So will the c4 crossmember work? And how do I bypass the neural safety switch the wires we not hooked to it

    Yes, as long as you can get the bolt holes lined up. The C5 is about an inch longer than a C4. Might have a problem with the driveshaft though, you'll have to get everything in then see how that fits.
