I recently replaced my fuel lines and tank due to rust in both. Earlier I had to rebuild my carburetor because of the rust clogging my jets. Its an Autolite 2100 2 barrel carb on a stock 302. Now I can't get it to start on its own. It starts if I prime it, or if I have it hooked up to a jump start. So I assumed that it was a battery issue not allowing it to crank over. However I got my battery charged today and now it will crank but not turn over unless I prime the carburetor. I just re-cleaned it after replacing my lines even though it wasn't that dirty, and I also checked my fuel pump and fuel is getting to the carburetor. Could this be a choke issue either making the mixture to fuel rich or too lean? Where do I go from here?

If fuel is getting to the carb but not into the carb (Sounds like it) Your needl/seat is stuck shut and or the float is not adjusted properly, and wont allow the needle to pull off the seat to allow fuel into the float bowl.
