I have read the posts on the form but still a bit unclear ? I have a 1970 maverick drum set up but want the disk brake conversion, I have found a 1975 maverick for a swap car do I need the spindles or will my spindles work with the rotors and calipers from the 1975 swap car. I know I need the mc and proportion valve and hoses, can any one clarify this for me thanks

You will want the spindles.....easy swap. Outer tie rod will need to be changed to the 1976-1977 style.

Why a 76-77 tie rod if the spindles are from a 75 ? I don't understand why they have to be a 76-77 and not a 75 just asking so I don't buy parts I don't need or get a cluster "&$$/) going with my front end thanks guys

You ask for 1976-1977 so you are guaranteed to get the correct tie rods. ALL 1976-1977 Mavericks/Comets came with disc brakes.
