What can I do to raise the rear

    I am putting 17s on the car and the gap between the tire an the panel is 1 inch. It looks great but I am concerned about suspension travel. I was thinking shackles but the leaf springs are already low on the long stock shackles.

    Or get new springs...

    one inch should be enough for the rear. if not then shackles is your easiest way to lift it

    Longer shackles are not a suitable way to fix ANY suspension problem with a Maverick. All they do is make the situation worse.

    well if I have any trouble I'll be sure to try the new leaf springs. over $200 for the pair though...wow

    The proper way to do it, is to get wheels with the optimum back-spacing and tires that are not too wide to fit under the body.

    they would fit fine if I didn't have to use adapters.
