No way to make one out of cardboard or light plywood?

Nobody has a paper one??? Maybe if I get brave, I could take the spoiler off MY car and get a big sheet of paper and trace out the hole locations and the edges of the trunk lid. I could scan it on the 36" scanner at work and make copies, or send PDF's out. I didn't realize everyone was using plywood and cardboard...

Measure the locations of the studs, then transfer the measurements to the trunk lid, then drill the holes. Do a search, it's been discussed many times over the years.

This is probably the easiest way to do it.

sit the studs on the spoiler up to the lip on the trunk lid. mark there location with a marker and center punch the mark. it should be on the very edge of the trunk lip...use a step bit to size the holes.
here is 16 year old Collin doing his spoiler install.
