I attempted to install my new SS pre-bent brake lines today. They would fit perfectly if not for the master clutch cylinder occupying the same space the lines need to pass through to reach the distribution valve. I need to find/make brake line extensions and re-bend the lines a bit. Anyone have any thoughts on how to go about this?

Can you just hand bend what they sent you and make it work?

I'll have to do some bending no matter what but the lines still need to be longer to get around the master clutch cylinder. I think I'll borrow a flaring tool from Advanced Auto, buy some new fittings and fabricate a couple of extensions.

FYI, make sure the tool is for stainless steel flares, I think the flare is different... I had to pull the clips that held my lines on the fire wall and bend them up some.. they were still too close for comfort, so I zip tied rubber fuel line around the brake lines were they touched the top of the clutch master...

If you need to get to the distribution block to the master cylinder, Summit sells flexible Braided Stainless Steel hoses in different lengths and fittings.
