Junk Yard Seat Belts?

    Has anyone ever pulled modern seat belts from a junkyard as a temporary solution? Basically I need to get my 74 to pass inspection but I don't have the money for brand new Juliano's or Drakes. With some work do y'all think that the seat belts from say a modern mustang or other car would fit?

    That post is what got me thinking about this, but he only grabbed the belt drops(the extenders that hang from the head liner). So idk if a whole system will work or not.

    You can probably make ANYTHING work. The key is.....is it SAFE.

    i have 74 comet belts ill take out for you if you want original belts. name your price...
