starter problems

    I'm having problems. I have changed the starter, ignition switch, & solenoid.
    with the ignition in the off position, I hook up the ground onto the battery & engine wants to start. What could the problem be?

    unhook the rod on the ing. switch and try it.

    Found out it was a bad (brand new) solenoid. Exchanged it & Got it running today. Thanks for the info
