I’m setting my accessory brackets in place. I just remembered that the dipstick tube will not clear the stock alternator bracket and a hole needs to be drilled through the bracket.

For those that have done this conversion, can you send me or post a picture of where you had to drill the hole. I don’t want to butcher this thing up doing trial and error.

    Thanks,
    Micah

I just bent my tube a bit, and flipped the tube holder so that the dipstick came up just near the alternator bracket bolt.

    Can't find a picture.

Currently changed my setup again, and don't have a dipstick at all. Otherwise I would shoot a pic for you.

    Thanks guys.

I was putting the brackets on and remembered this was an issue. The dip stick tube was at the powder coater. So, I had no way to check. If I drilled the bracket and screwed it up, I wanted to get it back to the powder coater to get done with the tube.

I ended up finding a couple of photos. After seeing your posts. I went and got the tube and bent it a little. I think it will fit. I did not install yet.

I'm having a tough time reinstalling the brackets. They were off the engine when I got them and I didn't get all the hardware. I think I have it figured out now.
