    If I can keep my kid's hands off it I now have a 3 x 1 set-up for my 250 Mav.

It has a stock center carb and holleys at each end. No linkage, but I can fab that up. Has anyone else put this set up on a 250?

I have read the articals about Ak Miller and the 200 inch Maverick, but the 250 is taller. Before I install them, I will do lots of head work (blend bowls, unshroud valves and port and mill as possible. May add a cam as well. Gotta get this thing to run better the 20 second E.T.s

Any experiance out there? Hood clearance issues, etc.

You probably already tried them, but do not forget Clifford Research in your search for answers.

When I started building my Ranchero motor I contacted them and even bought some parts. They sent the shippment to someone else and were very rude on the phone. When Clifford was still alive I've been told he was a wealth of knowledge, but still difficult to talk with. I still may give them another try as I've been told there are new people there.

    Thanks for the reply.
