After searching thru old posts I got pretty confused. If you want to convert a three on the tree to a three on the floor you just need the trans tail from a donor car that had it on floor?

    Yes you are correct.

Plus...if you want to remove the shifter from the column, you will need the steering column with no shifter on it.

Maybe I should clarify.. The car I'm thinking of purchasing has a manual shift on the tree. I want to convert it to manual shift on the floor. If it's gonna be a hassle, I'll look for a floor shift manual or possibly an auto on the floor model only.
