Water pump pulley question

    I have a water pump pulley that measures 2-1/4 deep and its like i need one thats just 2 inches deep is there pulleys that deep or am i doing something wrong here.

    The pulley goes closer to my timing cover than the small groove on my crank does so the belt wont line up and i tryed posting pictures but it wont load them
