1982 F-100 brake conversion?

    Wouldn't you need the backing plates as well? If the f-100 uses a big bearing rear I don't think the backing plates will fit a maverick rear.

    Should it not all be the same? Looks the same except the F-100 shoes are wider and the drum lining extends to the bolt face.




    I thought the same thing….

    I believe O'reilly is wrong, Advance says the F-100 & F-150 use same drums, doesn't give size but I know Ford P/Us used five on five since at least the mid 60s...

    If you want 2.5" brakes look at Torino/Montego wagons, still will need matching hardware and back plate...

    AutoZone shows the same thing. 5 on 4.5. Only used for four model years plus the hardware is same as my 9 inch Granada rear end.
