85 engine block question

    I have an 85 302 engine that i converted to 70s brackets and stuff but i cant seem to get the belts lined up so im thinking i need a different crank pulley that the engine came with so is anybody else running an 80s model engine thanks.

    I'm using an 80's engine with aftermarket factory style balance, with 70's pulleys, my belt lines up no problem.

    I still have the factory pulleys that came with the engine

    1972 Comet GT clone 306 . 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428CJ 1988 T-Bird awaiting 331 ..
    If you are using a late timing cover that was orig used with serpentine belt setup, your V pullies will be off approx 1/4"...

    Also the late 500z ballancer is probably a bit thicker...

    I am running a late model timing cover with the dipstick in it

    After comparing pics with my brothers car i figured put whats wrong i just need a V8 power steering pulley
