Hey y'all. Once again, spending money I don't have on parts I don't need to go faster than my girlfriend says I should :p Ive got a line on a used (but not beat to hell) aluminum driveshaft. It's dirt cheap and the guy has no idea what it's out of. He thinks its from a stang though. I'm gonna go over tonight and measure it but I was wondering if anyone know how long a 4 dr comet's shaft should be from centre to centre, or overall length. Ive searched and only found 2dr lengths :(

    For a 4 dr there is 2 different lengths a 250 and a 302. For a 250 it's 52 17/32. For a 302 it's 53 13/64. They both have 28 spline yoke. Hope that helps.

Bad news is no other cars interchange with comet or maverick.

I do have drive shaft for it email me directly if you want it.

uhhhh, does the transmission move o_O

Anyway it ended up being too short. Which is ok with me becasue I thought about and aluminum is far weaker than steel, just lighter and prettier
