Hey all I’m currently restoring my 77 Maverick the wiring harness that came with the car isn’t in the best shape, I bought a 74 as a parts car and it’s got a good harness in it as far as I can tell. I was wondering if it would be possible to take the entire harness from the 74 and put it in my 77, I know the fuse box is in a different location but I’m not sure of any other differences that would shut this idea down.

The instrument cluster harness plug is wired different for a different circuit board. Might have to swap instrument cluster

Does the '77 harness plug together at firewall, or is it a complete harness?

I have the complete harness from the 74 and the 77 right now the car has no wiring in it at all just trying to see what would be the better option
