After spending more time with my friends in the import scene, and hearing about a turbo 250 that runs 11's, I started to dream of a twin turbo comet. I need to replace the cracked stock exhaust manifold and the single barrel carburator on my little money pit, so I figured I should research the turbo project before I go and buy a bunch of stuff that I wont be able to use. I don't know much about turbo-ing a carburated engine, and was wondering if there is a fuel injected head that will kinda bolt up ( thunderbird? ) or if anyone had any pointers on turbo on a carb. until then it is time to save up and look for a turbo mechanic in need of some serious tattoo work. Help me out please, there are both a lot of import ricers, and v8 meatheads ( no offense to either of ya ) that need to recognize the awesome power of the comet......one it gets the turbo make over and maybe a lil spray....
