Trans Fluid Fittings

    Would a hardware store have the trans fluid fittings ( the ones attached to the trans) or do I need to get them from a auto parts store.

    i got mine from ace hardware. they have a complete display of those type fittings.

    1966 Mustang, 1972, 73, 73 and 73 Mavericks
    It depends on the year of the tranny. The early C4's had 1/8" pipe thread fittings the late model C4's use a straight thread fitting with a lock nut. The ones with a lock nut you will have to get from a transmission shop the 1/8" pipe fittings are available at any hardware store or most auto parts store.
