<:::::::::>~' High everyone, well i am doing a swap i have a 74 mav and a 87 mark vll 5.0 engine code f (not h.o.) i have all ready got the computer and wiring harness in the mav i am using the mark vll trans as well i would like to know what all is nesceeary for engine and trans mounts i have a 77 granada that i am using as donor car and am switching all the front end parts today so i will have disc in front i hope someone has done this swap before cause i would to know before i put the engine in then measure take it out fix mount put in take out put in take out put in.... any help is very much aprechated oh by the way the granada is a 302 but i wanted to use a efi engine
i think that the rear disk brakes from the mark will fit your 8". read that in a thread somewhere in these forums.
thanks but i didn't get that lucky as to have the disc brake setup for the rear al though i did get the front and the springs and new shocks now i just need to figure out the exsaust big head ache 6901 hookers maybe but then what about the 02 sensors i am really thinking about just going carburated but would like to get this 5.0 efi set in there the trans is a little larger than the c4 in it but it has the speed sensor i need unless there is an adaper that can be used all ready got the ecm and wire harnes in the car the tank has a lot of rust had to get it flushed any suguestions for any of this would be greatly appreatched oh and what about motor mounts i have some 77 granada mounts an good?
You can just weld o2 sensor bungs into the collector of those 6901's. I believe they are standard 18mm. If you cant find any just pm me. I'll send you some cheap plus shipping. Jamie
