I just received my headliner from AK. On top of the headliner was a seperate piece of headliner material not attached. does this go somewhere? I don't remember it coming out in anything but one piece. I was thinking maybe this was just on top to protect the headliner when I cut open the box.

When I first read this my instinct was to say that you're right, it's just extra material. But then I got to thinking, is there a narrow strip of material that runs down the pillar along each side of the windshield? I don't have a car in front of me so I can't be sure but I seem to remember that in mine. I could be way off though...
