I have been driving my car for about 4 months with NO dash lights (except red ALT). I am pretty sure it is the headlight switch...but that shake-to-recharge flashlight seems to be working pretty good Actually, I promised the wife no more work on the car until I get the body straight, so I have been focusing on new fenders and doors, etc.
The 2825 bulb is definately the way to go. My gauges used to be so dim I could barely see them when going under street lights at night or whatever. I put the 2825 bulbs in and they are way brighter. I can see them fine now no matter what. I put the 2825 bulbs in my side marker lights also. Made them way brighter which can only improve safety.
