Meanmav, it is my understanding that the 86 GTs had a more restricted intake when compared to 87 and up. I'm not sure where the mercs fall in this story but with the smaller TB and injectors I would bet the intake may be different. What year merc did the setup come from? A friend had the merc setup in a 68 bronc and we found that the merc intake and TB where different than the GT. I think his was from an 87 merc. In your second quote I'm not sure what you meant but the 302HOs have the 351 firing order. Not trying to be "picky" but I don't want others to make the same mistakes I did. The first system I bought was an 86! I have three Mustang SD ECMs, a set of 19lb injectors and a 91 upper and lower including the TB and EGR spacer if you are interested. Don't need much for them just need to get rid of it.

if you get a chance, send me a pm with what your wanting for the stuff. and one of the biggest reasons i am wanting to go with the LTD/Grand Marquis setup is the fact that it is a 302 firing order, and NOT the 5.0 HO/351 firing order.

the size of the intake and such really doesnt make much difference to me right now since im just trying to get everything going... then i can upgrade
