seam weld??

    Ok so I feel clueless...my Mav has rust sections on the rear quarter panels both sides right above the wheels and to the back, I have been told 2 things...
    1. patch work
    2. cut at the seam welds and replace. I dont see seam welds...and I dont think they are so bad that that has to happen.

    my question (I feel like an idiot) are there seam welds above the rear windows? and if so where should I begin to look for those panels...everything I am reading I cannot find those.

    Please help the lost and confused!

    Still new to this whole world of restoration!

    The quarter panel has a seem along the sail panel on the roof. You cant see it because it is leaded from the factory. This is something you dont want to mess with unless your a pretty good body man. The quarter skin you can buy dosent match up to the same area anyway, unless you have a NOS quarterpanel. I see you live in MD. I"m near Annapolis, where are you?
