Frank (71gold) is having a problem with his computer. He can read the posts, but he can't make any. I think it's OE. Anyway, everybody post a note to Frank and tell him how much you miss him (lie if you have to). Maybe some of the guru's can give him some ideas to try to fix his 'puter.

Apparantly Maverick.to does not use a static IP address. About 2 or 3 days out of the week I cannot access this site from work even though it is fine with my ISP. My company has it's own Domain Name Servers and only update every 24 hour or so. When the IP address of maverick.to changes I cannot access it until the DNS updates. Apparantly Frank's ISP doesn't update their DNS all that often ...

Maverick.to does have a static IP, which you can see by pinging maverick.to and verifying the entry form October here http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph/?host=maverick.to

Frank can view the site with no problem but cant log in, so its not a DNS issue. Im corresponding with him via e-mail to try to resolve the problem.

Dan, how long have you had problems reaching the site? Another forum I vist was having similar problems and that site used the same datacenter as maverick.to. They switched providers and moved to a new data center and
since the move, I never have problems reaching the site. Im looking at another host and I might swich as soon as next week!

Stefan ... If I ping your site I get 67.18.234.4 ... However if I use the IP in my browser it does not work ...

I have been having access issues from my work PC for about 3 or 4 months I would guess ..

Hey Frank, I was gonna tell you what you needed to do to fix your puter but Terry talked me out of it. He seems to think it's payback for all the times you log in under our names and send in those bogus messages. I guess what comes around goes around, huh?:tsk: Oh well, you'll probably figure it out without my help anyways. Good luck.:)

First things first, lets get it working at least on a temporary basis.

    http://www.mozilla.org/firefox

Download and install Firefox, works better than IE anyway.

My first thoughts, find files and search for maverick.to to find all cookies related to the site and delete them.

Download Spybot and Adaware, update and run each, one at the time. Clean all files found.

I do this for a living, email is jgwaldrop at hotmail dot com.

I do wonder if it may not be an account issue with the forum? Have you tried setting him up a dummy account just to try to log in?

    Dear Frank,
When I was a little boy I had laryngitis for two weeks.
The other kids would talk, but I couldn't respond. When I tried they all just stared at me like I was a sideshow freak. Before long they began to ridicule me and dubbed me an outcast.
Now I shall exact my revenge! MMWWWAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
