I want to bring the '71 to the Gathering this summer. If I can't find a trailer to borrow, I'm going to rent one for the 4-5 days. I've done u-haul in the past, and looked at Penske, any other thoughts?
Bruce You are only less than 400 mile from the somerset go have some fun and just DRIVE IT .. If all goes right I will DRIVE mine over 2000 miles one way to get there.
Trust me, I would. I drove to Elizabethtown in 2008. I have a driveline vibration that I cannot seem to track down and no hood that will fit yet. I don't get home from deployment until April. I just don't think I'll be able to solve the issues in time for July.
Is there a big place near you that sells trailers? The ones near me also rent what they sell and at a very good price. I think their thought is if they can get you rent or "test drive" one of them, they might get a sale out of it.
