Hi there everyone. I'm kinda new to the Ford parts interchangeability so I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I need to know what 8 inch third members {if any} will bolt into my '63 housing.

All 8" third members interchange with each other.

Thanks all of you for your help. I did forget one thing--it seems that my third member is a tracklock, because when I spin the pinion flange, both wheels rotate the same direction. I didn't know there was a "posi" option for an 8 inch! How about it, anyone ever hear of this? If it is a "posi", can I still just swap out any third member?

If its a factory traction lok diff...its probably out of a V-8 mustang II.Other wise an 8" posi is virtually unheard of from the factory.
