See Steve........now your thinking! I will have to put a set of my old 14" "may-pops" in the ole van. Wonder how long they would last until the went "boom"?
That picture got me thinking. There is some guys at my local track that put some kind of chemical or something on there rear 1/4's(before they do a burnout, not after) that just with a rag wipes the rubber right off and doen't hurt the paint.( I never thought to ask them what it was called) Does anyone know what its called and where it can be bought? Thanks.
Meguiar spray on wax Go to autozone and get Meguiar spray on wax. Now I know this is going to sound crazy but this stuff works like magic. Make sure you get the wax and not the detailer. If you put it on before you race the tire build up on the 1/4 panels just wipe off with a little more spray and a small amount of rubbing. Then you are ready for the next round. I don't sell this stuff but if I did I sure would be proud of it. You can pick some up for under 5.00 bucks Hope I've helped Terry
Tod was stagging up against me when he had his misshap. I guess my Sprint just scared the wheels right off his car. And Terry, thanks for that wax advise, I will surely try it out.
This is most likely a dumb question........ But, where is the roundup held? And when? ONE DAY, I am gonna make it out there............. Thanks, Preston
The only dumb questions are the ones not asked Preston...I didnt know either...now I do. I'm in on the Burnout Contest... I hope to have the new rear end in by the mini meet in Savannah. My right rear tire is wearing a little thin
In by proxy. Us west coasters will have to enter in spirit only I guess. By the way, I did exactly the same thing to my car two days before this picture was taken. It's uncanny how much that looks like my car sitting there on its traction bar.
