went to the track yesterday. after missing the first race because of my knee, i had to go yesterday as they were supposed to run 2 races to make up for the rainouts we've had. well, they only ran one but i made it to the semi's. prior 3 rounds had a .044, .013, and .011 lights. i thought i was a little late but the maverick seemed to hook and go up a little instead of forward. instant red light. lost that run to a clean looking fairmont that had a late model 5.0 in it. he went on to beat a plymouth in the finals so at least a ford won the race. :)

Good showing Don, I bet when you got in the seat and buckled up, the knee never hurt at all. Racin is kind of funny that way, huh.

just returned from the doctor. he said the only thing the mri showed was some arthritis. sure is heck getting old. he said there are three options. 1. do nothing and see if it heals. 2. three injections for arthritis. one a week for the next 3 weeks. or 3. open it up and take a look around. his suggestion was to go for #2 and stay out of work until we see if it works. so i guess that's what we'll try. :huh:guess it'll get some more therapy at firebird raceway next sunday.

I know this sounds crazy :coco: but spray that knee with wd-40 and rub it in good. I do it every once in a while myself. Don't ask why but it works. Really. Hope it gets better soon.
