My next door neighbor is a photographer and he agreed to take some pictures of the Sprint. I'm ready for the 2012 Calendar submissions Background is a boat launch on Falls Lake, just North of Raleigh, NC.
Very nice pics. The first one the car is so clean and the picture is so clear that it almost makes the car look like a model or a toy. Just one piece of advise, next time take down the shoulder straps. I know they are original but it distracts from the overall cleanlines of the car and picture.
I know!! I gotta do something with those things. They are a pain to use and they just look like clutter. Even if you take them down they hang in the window. Maybe when the elastic was new they would fit snugly to the headliner? Think there might be some aftermarket retractable shoulder straps but they would just be on my wish list at this point. Neighbor Steve took those shots from 100 feet away with telephoto lens. I have some 13X19 "Super B" sheets of photo paper and a Deskjet 9300 printer that will print it. Going to make a print and frame it.
You just need some new elastic on those belts....and they will be nice and tight against the ceiling like mine.
I'll try that. Sewing is about the only thing I haven't tried to do on this car. Think all Sprints had bench seats. Mind did originally. Buckets with Sprint-like upholstery replaced the bench seat. Don't tell anyone they came out of a Camaro.
