In search for my next project the wife said "How about a Maverick, I like Mavericks", so here I am. Cool wife huh?

My last project car was and still is an '84 Mustang GT Turbo. We did a complete coil over & three link road course suspension and some motor upgrades. It's a fun little car to drive but I miss the rumble of a v8.

When I was a kid there was a teenage neighbor that had a hot Grabber. He would crank it up in the morning and wake the whole neighborhood :yahoo:. When I turned 16 I knew what I wanted but ended up building a '63 Fairlane. Since then I have had 10 seconds Mustangs, 12 second Firebirds, a 11 second Trailblazer, motorcycles, etc, etc.

It is time for a Maverick (read or Comet)!

So until I have one it will be read read read and plan out the build. As soon as the post is approved you will see the GT in a for trade ad if anyone may be interested.

    Anywho....Hello from Cartersville

It's tough having cars shipped. I am not a very patient person. When the purchase is within 6 or 7 hundred miles I usually fly out and drive back. Makes things much quicker.

This car needs a little work to drive...new tires and a gas tank!
it's 812 miles from here but it's only costing me $400.00 to get it here...some folks wanted a vacation here so they agreed to bring it with them...cool huh?

Lots of GA Mavericks around. You shouldn't have much problem finding you one. Good luck! :)

That '84 GT Turbo is awesome! Do you get on four eyed pride? The guys over there would love that car. I've got an '80 Mercury Capri RS that'll be a project at some point in the future if I don't sell it first.
