hi i am a new member also i hope we can help each other restore our mavericks i have a 1972 grabber .
Welcome all new members, im real new too. All these people are sharp on the maverick, very kind and helpful. They make being a maverick owner more fun. I have a 76 maverick stallion that was my first car, and wanting to rebuild it. These guys and gals have got the answers. I would like to know if a should keep the engine 302 stock or build it run? and will it hurt the value if a do build it to run?
hey im sorry i could not reply to all your posts right away , but thank you very much . and hopefully i will take some pictures to the process of restoration.
Since Mavericks are not the collectibles that they should be, Id say build it however you want it. Stock Mavericks just dont bring the bucks in. Modified ones do better in my opinion.
When I was 17...It was a very good year! Welcome Jon, You have come to the right place! I was 17 years old when I bought my first new car, a 1974 Maverick Grabber! Joe
