Guys I am so excited. My wife & son flew to Colorado today to drive back a very cherry 1974 Maverick Grabber for me. They just picked it up a couple of hours ago & are now on there way home to Arkansas.:bananaman My son has been giving me the play by play by cell phone. I bought it from a very nice 86 year old man. This was his baby & it shows. He has taken very good care of it. He called it his toy. My son crawled underneath & said he could not believe how clean it was. He detailed the engine compartment but exterior paint & interior are original. My son said it drives, rides & handles perfect. He says it purrs like a kitten. I was very nervous about them driving it a thousand miles. Wish I could have flown out there with them. I will let you guys know when it gets here. If your wondering why I'm soo excited about a 74 it's because it was my 1st car. I bought one brand new off the showroom floor in 1974. I was a junior in High School. It's really cool to get one in this condition. I will be looking to change the bench to buckets though. Thanks for listening. Here are the pics.
Dang ... why do old folks always crunch up the rocker panels. Both my cars were owned by old folks and both had crunchy rockers!
