http://www.maverick.to/grabber/maverickpics.html i saw this online somewhere, it was the maverick with the chin spoiler and the scoop that says "3 pak" on it (photo is like the 3rd or 4th from the top). Does anybody know anything about this?
The three 1bbl carb setup was a popular modification back in the day. Do a search and you'll find all the info, or head over to fordsix.com. I think there's a sticky on there, and clifford/offy might still offer the parts. I'd think a using six side draft carburetors would look bad ass, and you get them practically free from the import guys who upgrade to EFI.
I saw a picture of a 200ci six with 3 1bbl carbs fitted to the log intake many years ago. Dad and I talked of doing it but the machine work was more than I was willing to spend. I only saw the pic of the engine so I don't remember what car it was in.
