    new member I have a 1971 grabber 302 3 speed manaul I bought about a year ago on ebay it was in reno it had been sitting in a old garage with dirt floor it fired right up I burned rubber around the block and dollyed it home although I proably could of drove it . I have done some moter work but I have a long way to go .there is some rust on lower panels right door is dented pretty good . my purshase price was 2.300 some say I paid to much . but they dont own a maverick

    Welcome and good luck with your project. The person that said "you'll spend a lot more if you hang around here" was right...lol. My economy build has turned into wayyy more than I ever thought, but it's a lot of fun and keeps me out of trouble!

    Welcome! I don't think you paid too much. Manual transmissions in 302 cars are very uncommon. You're two steps ahead of everybody in doing that coveted toploader 4-speed swap!
