    Sorry guys for making you search past threads. If it was not for that story I may not have had the desire to restore a Mav. On this new generation "924 Mav" I have 30 cubic inches more than I had 24 years ago and it has no problem squealing the tires even though my fat butt is a lot bigger than 24 years ago. I have the money now. My next project will be for my son who is now seven. We will see to it that he can squeal the tires when he is 16 (then again maybe that is not a good idea). Anyway sorry for the wild google chase Rick

    LOL...yes, dealing with the Texas DMV is a PITA...fortunately for 924 MAV, it worked out for him(y)


    I was going to go the vanity plate route, however, I chose to purchase the same year tags and take the easy money way out:D ...now, from an external appearance, my Comet looks correct down to the plates! (unless I swap the tire/wheel combo)
