I'm new to this form and I was wondering if this Maverick is worth $3500, it's a 71' with a 302(don't know if original)[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

check the second letter in the vin for an x and also if there is a switch behind those gauges in the center of the dash. if it isnt a grabber its a pretty good clone. either way, if the car is low rust and runs good id say yes. if you get it, you will want to put some shock tower braces back in it.

    vin is 1x91t177454, 9" with 3.73. i think $3500 is probably a fair price for it. :)

I would say "YES". Lots of good parts on that car for that price. Probably runs better than we think...it looks like it has some drag history, so no telling what has been done to the 302. May be rebuilt, bored over, you never know?

I have over $5000 into mine, and it doesn't look nearly as good as that one.

Going by the above vin it looks like a factory non-Grabber 6 cyl car...but from what I see, I still says it's well worth it as long as it's not eat up with rust.

If you bought a stocker with little rust and spent the time and money to get it to that one`s shape. When you were done it, would probally be more then that in it.
