even those idiots in manhattan who are protesting thank you. those towers used to be only 2 miles from where they are protesting. they may have forgotten, but i remember and thank you for committing yourself to protecting our way of life!

Even after having served in the Navy, I can never think of anything to say to someone going off to war that doesn't sound totally corny (after all, I am not a poet). At any rate, here goes: May whatever God you believe in be with you, and those you serve with. You have done America proud just by volunteering to serve and protect us.
