Wow, thanks guys. Man, this site is addicting. I was up until about 3 AM last night reading on here. So many nice cars to look at, and nice people to boot! I'm somewhat surprised by how many GA people are on here, good to know we have fellow Maverick/Comet people near by. I will definately keep all of you guys updated on my search for a car. I might be going to look at a early 70's (not exactly sure on the year yet) Maverick this weekend that is missing the engine and transmission, but the body is almost rust free and the interior is all there. I'm thinkin maybe drop a more modern 5.0 302/5 speed in it? My dad still has the original 302 from his Comet stored away, so thats definately an option also. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
