Stopping by to introduce myself. Don't have a Maverick today...but have my eyes on one. Plan is to make a killer street toy in the style of the 70's Pro Stockers..or at least something old school like that. I love the new boosted applications but there is something about a Boss or Cammer that just looks perfect! Dad bought a new Maverick in '70. Green/170"/3 speed. Great car...brother used it for school later and eventually traded it on a '73 Gran Torino Sport. Meanwhile Dad bought a '73 Pinto with factory mags etc. I used that one in high school and still have it. Sucker ran 14.60's back then with the 2.0L which was flying in those days. Spanked a lot of Trans Am's and Z-28's in the 70's! Had tons of cars over the years. Currently have a '67 Vette convertible with a 555" pump gas motor/Gforce 5 speed and 3.07 rear gears in a custom made Dana 60 IRS. Runs 9.90@142.58 on pump gas/all motor! I've had it since 1996. This ought to be fun! JIM
