So i went to go see the dodgers get their butts kicked by the Astros in my comet. I parked at the stadium and after the game I came back to see that some one stole my gas cap and siphoned my gas.... yeah that sucked. so when I bought a locking gas cap today I was disgusted with the looks of it..... they are retarded, so my question is were and how do I get a great gas cap?
You can try looking on Ebay, occasionally they have some maverick insignia locking caps but they are getting rarer to find. My advice, by a crappy looking cap and then go to one of those vinyl decal places in any mall and have them make something custom for you until you find one that you like. Just an idea. I'd buy a creezy cap and another good one. As long as your with the car, keep the good one on. When you have leave it, put the crappy one on and lock the good one in the trunk or inside the car. It only takes a couple of seconds to change it.
gas cap woes I know, my son went to work and when he came out the gas cap was gone. Been trying to find one since. Mavaholics idea good....bought a stant for $12 @ auto supply, still looking for comet cap on e-bay...found one for $25....I think thats high....robert
