NPD sells preformed H pipes. Does anyone know which one(what year Mustang) will fit a '72 Maverick with a 302? Thanks. Jim
Good Question! I have been wondering the same thing as my son and I are looking at putting exhaust on his car soon. Will be looking forward to hearing from someone who knows.
That's a tough one. Since our cars have unique exhaust manifolds, it's likely that none will fit. If you were to find a set of Mustang manifolds that fit, then you could use those and get the corresponding H-pipe.
this is what i run on my car. http://www.jegs.com/i/Flowtech/387/53630/10002/-1 its a really nice kit. i think you can even get it with out the cut outs. the caps for the cut outs have plugs in them that fill the whole cut out tube so there is no flow distrubance in the pipes when the caped off. check this page out. http://www.jegs.com/c/Exhaust_Crossover-X-and-H-Style-Exhaust-Pipes/11525/10002/-1 it has lots of options for x and h pipe kits. when i got mine i took it to my friends muffler shop and they were impressed with it and the cost of it is less than what they would have charged to do it. if you just want a h pipe and you already have dual exhast then id just goto an exhast shop and ask for them to put one in. it should be pretty cheap to do.
