Thanks for all the great replies everyone...I seriously didn't expect to get that much feedback...As far as the exhaust goes I really love the way it sounds...It's composed of a $25 cherry bomb turbo muffler from PepBoys and various exhaust tube pieces..Still need to get a chrome tip for it though...I'm also not too crazy about the hole in the hood so that's why im planning on getting a B429 scoop...Just is case you guys are wondering, the stock hood is sitting in the garage unmolested and rust free....I was fortunate to get my beige hood from a junk yard Mav(that's about all it had that was any good)..Once again, thanks for all the positive feedback...And to think, I was contemplating selling my Mav and buying a Jeep Cherokee XJ:(...All of you have given me a boost to keep working on my mav..Thanks:)

Cool car.... I like those wheels, they go good with that car.

I must be lucky... I got stuck in a torrential downpour once in my '74 Grabber with no hood what so ever on it, was going to the junkyard to pick up another hood. I'm talking rain so hard you could hardly see a few feet in front of the car just pouring directly on the engine. The fan was throwing water everywhere and the belt was squealing like a pig, but the car never missed a beat, ran fine. Yet I hear all the time where just light rain will drown out some people's cars.

Haha, HP, whats that? lol...Honestly I have no idea how much HP it's got, but after the 2bbl swap the seat of the pants meter went up quite a bit:D...Hopefully once I get my wifes Accord paid off i'll be able to get the aluminum head and intake from Mike over at Classic Inlines...Then i'm sure i'll see some nice HP numbers...Do you have a 6 in yours Racer_X?

yup, i have a 250I6, I was was going to swap in a v8 but.... i think ive changed my mind, if a sup-it up i can get V8 torque at a low rpm range which is perfect for the streat. (more torque=better acceleration)
i'll be able to beat up on the hondas around town:D

ive got a 2bbl 250 in my maverick and it moves pretty damn good. probably not like it would if it was an 8 but i have no problem picking off old hondas

i'd love to actually build a 250 one day maybe with a turbo but the HP per $ ratio seems better with a 302

    heres my 250
