If it's nice Sept 3 I will attempt to paint my car outside, I have painted and clear coated door jambs and anything else that will be covered once asembled. This will be my first attempt at car painting! Jambs turned out nice except for one mischeivious mosquito:biglaugh: Oh well, he'll be buried under door plate forever.
Paint color is platnium (PT cruiser 06) mac

Actually if he was in California they would definitely love him!

I have a friend that is up in Anchorage on a job until after the first of the year. Well the forecast is saying Sunny and a high of 61. Good luck with the painting.

Good luck, I had the same plan for this weekend. Was going to paint the bedside of my old pickup. I love to do bodywork and paint outdoors, but rarely ever paint outdoors. But I was going to this weekend. Late friday afternoon I primed the bedside in the freaking rain!!! I gave up when I also discovered I had hit it harder with the mower than I had thought, put a nice little crease that I have to work out.
Post pics of your paint when you getter done!!!

Last I heard you could paint one car a year at your residence. Could be a tall tale though. Sean "googleking" check it out for us, will ya. j/k
