Frame repair

    I have a 1977 Ford Maverick with a 250. I notice that the frame is i need of some major repair right behing the front wheel well on the driver's side. Can any one tell me where I could get replacement frame rails or how to fix it without tearing the front in ou t completely.

    some photos would help , but, if its a rust problem in that area , it would be advisable to pull all the suspension and then address the needs. Start by looking for a cheap donor car for parts.

    Sounds like the front torque box. Depends on how bad it is.

    Take your time. do it right you'll be happy in the end you did it that way. Pull it all apart and fix it all. If you don't later tire wear,alinement,ride, hood fit,fender fit and what all else. Good Luck!
