Anyone done a write-up on converting from automatic column to auto floor shift ? I did a search and found some vague post. What parts are needed ?
    Thanks

i have done (2). there are a few ways to do it.
#1-the way it came from the factory
    #2-an aftermarket set up
    #3-a mustang/pinto small shifter
#4-the stock big shifter without the hump
so depending on the one you choose as to what parts you will need.

    i did #1 and #4 :yup:

    a general list would be...
    shifter (complete) w/bezel and handle
    linkage
    reverse light switch
    safety/netural switch
    factory hump
the shifter lever needs to be flipped
some mods to the column shift linkage at the bottom of the column
remove colum shift lever/cut and fill lever boss
remove ..shift selector.. on top of colum and fill
some swap to a floor shift collar or column...
if i think of more i will edit this post.maybe someone else can give more options...frank...:bouncy:

That's Pretty Much Got It Covered... But If You Find A Floor Shift Column Then There's No Need To Mod Ur Existing Column, Just Swap It Out.

I did #1 ... you'll need either a floor shift parts car or all the parts ...
