We finally got the new 302 fired up. Bored .040 with flattops and a edelbrock carb and intake. Did have some trouble getting all the air out of the cooling system. It ran smooth at first but now idles as though it had a high performance cam, it does not. It doesn't have a noticable miss, just lopes. Possible Intake Leak? Any suggestions appreciated.

Get a can of carb cleaner and use that to spray around the carb, intake, ect and see if there's a leak.
