I did buy a set of these last year and tried to make them fit, I cant remember the exact location but one tube on the passenger side hit. They were costly and i decided to just send them back and build my own. I never even tried the drivers side so i cant say about it. I will say they were very good quality headers and if memory serves me correct, I think they would have worked if it had been a tall deck motor. And yes they are mid length headers so they would improve ground clearance.

I appreciate the your first-hand knowledge on these. I guess I'll stay with the shorty option then.

Anyone know the collector size on the shorties? What about a performance comparison from Long tube to shorties. I've read somewhere that top end HP will drop when switching from Long Tube. I dont have a drag car, just an all around performer.

The long tubes produce MORE bottom end torque.
